Street Math Investigations - New York (or SMI-NY, for short) is the first project of the Street Math Alliance, a group of educators working to improve mathematics instruction by taking it out of the classroom and into the street, using interactive investigations which combine important questions, big ideas and powerful technology to facilitate understanding.

Parents I'd Like to Meet

This summer, SMI-NY "goes live" with it's first "unit," a 3 week summer program to get middle schoolers onto the streets of New York to get the mathematical pulse of the city. Email me at r@smi-ny.com for more information!
