In My Own Words

What''s most important in my life is my family. We're a threesome. I've been with my beloved husband nearly 19 years. Our one & only daughter just turned 11 years old & swam with the dolphins (see pic). We live in S. FL but our hearts are in Connecticut. I lived there until I was 11 yrs old. My husband & I visited my best friend who''s still living there with her family & he fell in love with my hometown, but the real estate market being what it is we''ll be in S. FL for a while longer. My girl has attended private school from pk3-5th grade. For middle school she's been chosen to be part of an awesome public school magnet program starting fall. School is really important to me; always has been. My daughter''s more interested in the social culture of school & I respect that. My husband is a great guy, and an even better dad. There've been lots of ups & downs in 19 years - ultimately we're a very happy threesome. I''m honored & grateful to be at the inception of such a promising community and hope to be here a good long time. Thanks for visiting my profile.

Parents I'd Like to Meet

I''d be interested in meeting all kinds of parents. 99% of the parents I know are full-time working outside of the home Moms from 2 parent or single parent families. It''d be really interesting for me to meet SAH parents or work from home parents, as I don''t get to actually meet them in my day to day life. I''d also like to meet parents from Miami Dade County FL and Connecticut parents, particularly the Farmington Valley so we could swap information on "the scoop" about schools my daughter is currently in and schools she may attend in future.
