In My Own Words

I am a stay at home Mom and have been for the past 8 years. We have 1 daughter and 2 cats. We are very utdorrsy people loving to camp, and fish. Our daugter keeps us busy with her school activities, and her swimming lessons. She took karate and stopped when she reached an orange belt. I would love to connect with other parents of at her school and here in Washington State. Our daughter skipped 1st grade last year after only 3 months, moved into 2nd grae and ended the schoo year at the top of her class. She is in now in 3rd grade and has been accessed reading in the 5th grade level and her math skills are in the 4th grade. Our only challenge with her has been her moods. She gets very moody and slams the door, stomps her feet and gets very mouthy. She saves that behavior for here at home, otherwise everyone says she is the most sweet girl to be around. She is into Egyptian culture and science and loves to read, she can read 5-6 books aday!!

I would like to connect with other Moms who are working from home and are being successful at it, as I would like to work but only at home so I can be available for our daughter and her school activities.
