In My Own Words

iam a single mom and my son is eleven years old.....iam very passionate about his work at school and i usually get very emotional when my son is not doing well...but i do it on private so he does not see me crying...i struggle with him with time management at home and talking too much at school...but i try to help him as much as i can with school and also i pay a tutor to help him out more than i can..i know he is very bright but he is in that age that he is becoming a little man..if iam working, i keep communicate with him by calling and make sure he is doing his homework and how was school..i check his grades by email and i let him know how he is doing

Parents I'd Like to Meet

i would like to meet other parents who has experience on how to deal with teachers who are so tough or mean and do not care about your child grades...how to deal with the school if as a parent i dont see any improves on my child grades? how can i fight back with the teacher and school? my son is having a hard time in 5th grade, i need to know what to else i can do
