In My Own Words

Volunteer work: I am the new Richmond Council of PTA's Executive Board Secretary for the 2008-2010 term. I plan to be an active member on the board. Career: I work as a Seasonal Tax Specialist for H&R Block. Planning a career in Tax Accounting and Finance. I currently have an Associate in Arts degree Business Administration. I will attend Virginia Commonwealth University next semester to complete bachelor's degree requirements for graduation. I am the wife of a workaholic husband, Carlton. Mother of two boys (ages: 16 & 6), and one girl (age: 9).

Parents I'd Like to Meet

I enjoy meeting and chatting with parents that is about raising their child (ren) at a high level of academic educational standards, no matter where they attend school (Public or Private). Local, and national PTA volunteer experts that can assist with available resources in the Virginia area. Make being a successful parent, volunteering, and working either part-time or full-time a package deal. I would love to connect with parents that is involved with foster care, parents with a child (ren) in special education, and parents that have concerns and/or issues with IEP meetings.
