I'm a full time working mom of second grade triplets. Two girls and one boy.
It's been quite a ride, and I love all my roles as mom, wife, and where I work.
Our biggest challenges are centered around school and homework. I do feel that my kids (at least two of them)are having trouble keeping up in school. It seems that the school assigns an extrodinary amount of homework for second grade, and I am concerned about what third grade will bring. So I'm always looking for suggestions, tips and ideas to help keep the kids motivated and excited about school.
Parents I'd Like to Meet
I'd like to meet other parents of multiples. I'm also looking as to how to be the best advocate for my kids. Trying to decide when to get involved, or not get involved. I'd also love to get some objective views from parent teachers, so that I can best understand where I should expect my kids to be. How much do I worry about the kids progress and the grades that they are getting?
My son has and IEP for Speech and OT. He also has focus issues as well. Looking for strategies to address.
