In My Own Words

My favorite thing to do are spending time with my daughter when I home school her on Fridays. Our subject are art, science and culunary arts. She loves it. My life is very challenging finacially, but through my faith in God I do EVERY thing that needs to be done. Some days are better that others but communing with God and knowing that I have a beautiful princess to care for keeps e going. I get excited when my daughter's bell rings at school and she runs to see me and hugs me as if she hasn't seen me in years! I become saddened when she asks about her father( my ex- husband) and don't want to speak negative things about him; but there's NOTHING good to say about him. So I've learned to just chnge the subject.

Parents I'd Like to Meet

Women who are survivor of domestic violence and who are conquerors and victors in their circumstaces. How do you cope? I pray and have joined the PTO and other auxillaries in my church. I would like to start a support group in Ypsilanti, MI for these moms but don't know how. Whoever reads this and has any information please let me know!
