In My Own Words

I love my children and other children. I did child care for seven years. I owned my own center and did a preschool program. I loved it but when I saw that my children were having to take a back seat I decided to try and do something at home. God gave me the opportunity and I took it. I am not doing trophies. This allows me to work around their schedule. Now that they are in school and they have their individual activities I know now it was the best move I could do. My favorite memories with my children are when we can laugh together. We like to camp and we try to make it as fun for all as a family so that we all get the break from reality. That has been their best memories. When dad goes hunting we try to do a camp out in the living room and have mom and kid time. My typical day well~getting them up and out the door for school. The little one and I clean what we can and work on what we can do. I get a little frustrated cause I want it all done and look nice and stay that way. Well this is the real world and I have to accept that I can only do what I can and as long as we have fun doing it we had a good day. I want to be wonder woman. But I know it can't be possible when you have children 20, 11, 6, and 16 mos. a husband and a dog plus 3 horses. When I get frustrated I look around or read the paper and know that I have a good life. Counting your blessings is better then counting what you don't have or want. It makes you a lot happier. I have lost a husband to cancer at 35 and watched him suffer through what he suffered and I know I am very lucky. I learned a lot through that. Keep focused on the possitive not the negitive. My pet peeves is when we don't look at life as a gift and charish what we have. Stay positive and remember that life is hectic and just find ways to help.
