In My Own Words

I'm the mother of 3 boys, 16, 10 and the youngest is 3. The younger two of very, very hyper. The 16 yr old is ADD, the 10 yr old is ADHD and the 3 yr old is out of control wild, has a speech delay and receives speech therapy. My husband works 2nd shift so I'm the only parent at home in the evenings. My day consist of getting the kids up, feeding them breakfast and driving 30 miles to work. I leave work and pick up the youngest from daycare and then it's back home. I love being a mom and I do a wonderful job of dividing my attention for fun, love and praise. However, I lack terribly in providing adequate dicipline for all of them. Now that my oldest is driving I've had a rude awakening that let him get away with to much as a child. He does a better job of telling me what to do instead of vice versa.

Parents I'd Like to Meet

I'm hoping to meet parents who have children with behavioral/learning problems. Parents with kids with ADHD and ADD. Parents with impossible teenagers and aggressive toddlers. The success of my children are of extreme importance to me. I've put to much focus on mothering them it's time for me to teach them responsibility and how to succeed beyond mom's arms. I'd like to meet other stressed out moms of all boys.
