In My Own Words

What to say? I've got a nearly 4 yr old and a 10 month old. The 4 yr old is a blast. I dunno if it is all dads, but for me toddlerhood is when I really started connecting. He's got this little Snoopy dance (think of Snoopy with his big head raised up high & his arms and legs all akimbo) that is so freakin' cute! And he's almost TOO good at mechanical stuff (he keeps taking apart the baby's height chair, and the babysitter doesn't know how to fix it). My wife & I have (presumably) typically busy days. Both of us are more "mathy" & "science-y" inclined, but we're trying to make sure that our kids get a good balance of some athletics & arts thrown in their lives.

Parents I'd Like to Meet

I mostly want to meet other parents who (a) are the parents of friends of my kids (meaning that folks I meet through this site would want our kids to meet), (b) are like-minded as far as interests & how they wanna raise their kids (lots of education, but not through testing, testing, testing, and a healthy measure of autonomy), and (c) are the parents of kids that go to my kid's school (which I will hopefully figure out through this website).
