In My Own Words

Friends, HEY YA'LL!!! Yes, I am not a parent, but I think I am way too many times each day. Haha. I am very intrested in becoming a teacher and/or homeschooling mom someday in my far future. Any advice I can recieve from the other parents here will be the best! I attend a university model private Christian school where all jr. and high school students only come to school on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and the other days the students work with their parents or by themselves on assignments. Teachers put assignments on "RenWeb", where all students can login to see their current grades, assignments, and lesson plans. I am the wacky student who can be the life of the party (once I get over myself) or the geek who is the teachers best friend (I email some of my teachers! Seriously!). Also, I am the secretary of my schools student council. Writing is my "most favoritest thing in the whole wide world". I HATE it when children use their disabilities as excusses to be slackers, and when parents tell their kids that they just aren't that smart. I CAN NOT STAND behavioral issues, especially when the parents say "oh he has this disorder..." OH NO. As long as a kid can learn to not touch a hot stove, he can learn to be polite. Well, thanks for making it all the way through this! Hope I can help you sometime or you help me. =) -GRACIAS! xoxox, kpaWARRIOR
