In My Own Words

I have two grown children with children of their own - so I'm a grandma. At the same time, I have two children still at home, ages 6 & 12. One is attending private school and the other public, which I hope to transfer to private in the near future. My daughter is a single mom, so I help her as best I can, but she is independent. My son is a good father and his girlfriend a good mom, so they are okay too. I teach part-time, but home most of the time. Staying home, I find, has been more work than working full-time. Everyone leans on you because you are available.
