In My Own Words

I love having two boys as there is never a dull moment. It's very challenging being a parent and learning how to say NO for me. I am a real easy going person until someone messes with my kids. I can't stand bullies and have no patience for schools that do not deal with them promptly and properly. My son was beat up 3 times in one week by the same kid and the principal only made the kid sit out one recess. I pulled my son from that school because I didn't feel he was safe and his self esteem was shot. I feel that schools need to enforce their rules and this will help in raising more responsible kids. It's tough to work so hard at home and then have it ruined by a school that lacks discipline. I also have issues with the schools t hat teach to the standardized tests, the kids miss out on so much.
