In My Own Words

I am most interested in the following subjects : preventing school violence and bullying...by the use of technology, such as each child carrying a pager expanding the use of internet as a teaching tool...encourage some homeschooling to reduce costs suggesting INNOVATIVE HOLISTIC ways to learn such as developing video games which teach students about the REAL WORLD within the format they love, urging big game companies to work with educators to develop special versions of popular games, such as Jedi Academy, to incorporate the teaching of science and philosophies as well as humanities and arts inside these popular games...IT could be DONE ! I have seen my SON so immersed in playing video games like Jedi Academy, I wondered why he should not be learning some REAL SCIENCE and PHILOSOPHIES while ENJOYING himself...since I am a Star Warrior ( and a Trekkie...) myself ... I have talked with my brother ,who is a very good computer programmer, and he said it is feasible ... !!! Also another game he love playing called : The Romance of the Three Kingdom, is an action game about a period in Chinese history in which 3 kings fought each other and he now knows all the names of the political and military figures as well as when and where each major battle took place which even my father, who knows Chinese history, was amazed......!!! IMAGINE the teacher giving a few video games for our children to PLAY at home as HOMEWORK everyday ??? Won't that SAVE us parent a lot of frustrations getting our kids to do homeworks instead of playing video games.......LET's COMBINE THEM...it's a WIN WIN WIN non zero sum GAME of LIFE !!!
