In My Own Words

I'm a mother of four children. Married for thirteen years we have a blended family I have one child from previous relationship and my husband has one. We have two children together. We have only two children in the household now a 13 year old daughter and a 7 year old son. My husband is recently unemployed and I work full-time that has help a great deal with the children. Previously my husband had worked outside the home for the last 9 years and that was a hard time for our family my oldest child was still at home and that was definitely a challenge because my husband isnt his father. Their relationship has gotten better than when my son lived at home at times I just wanted to leave it was rough on me. Now my husband is experiencing life has a parent now realize that my son was out to get him. Now he knows that children are a challenge no matter if you're the biological parent or the step-parent. A typical day in my life I got up at 3:30am to arrive at work at 5:00am my day ends at 3:30pm. I arrive home at about 4:00pm most of the time my husband has help with homework the kids are accustomed to me doing their homework with them but since my husband isnt working I have been getting him involved in the area. I come to cook dinner, read with my youngest child check homework. Spend some quality time with the children sometimes that hard by me getting up so early but I do it anyway. Then its time to get ready for the next day prepare lunches, clean kitchen take showers, and bathes and off to bed we go.

Parents I'd Like to Meet

I would be interesting in meeting parents with children in the same age group has mine. Meet moms who work outside of the home who are married.
