I'm a single mom of 3 (an 8yr old boy in 3rd grade, a 11yr old daughter in 5th grade, and a 13 yr old boy in 8th grade) all attend Inkster public schools. My 11yr old daughter is part of the Lorraine Monroe Academy and I am very proud of her. I thank the Inkster Public Schools for their help and support, especially when my children and I were residents of the Wayne County Family Center. The are always keeping me informed of my children's progress and suggesting ways to help them.
Being a single parent is no easy task, being sole supporter for the family, it gets frustrating trying to save up for field trips, uniforms, and school supplies. But again thanks to the Inkster Public Schools they are there to help and ease my mind.
Parents I'd Like to Meet
I am a independent distributor for a company called Magic Kids. And what this company sells is brand name designer childrens clothing at 50 - 70% off the regular price you would pay at a regular retail store. My goal is to introduce my product to the schools and suggest any parents that orders a minimum dollar amount of 50.00 then 20%
of each sale would go to the school to help teachers buy their supplies they need. We all know the majority of the teachers have to buy their supplies out of their pockets. By suggesting this idea we can help those teachers and the parents can save money, gas, and their patience (going from store to store trying to find clothes for their children).
