I have a colorful employment history. My last career endeavor was teaching, which I loved until they socialized education with the "no child left behind act" and the government testing.
I have children and grandchildren and my youngest son was recently awarded a scholarship to college.
When my children were younger, I was involved in PTA, a PTA president, school incentitives and school issues.

Parents I'd Like to Meet
Coincidently, while spending time on research to build a website to inform parents what was going on in education and why banding together was paramount for positive change, I found this website.
Parents need to understand that the majority of teachers "know the truth" but are afraid of speaking out. They are afraid of losing their jobs. Parents need to know the importance of getting the facts, supporting each other, sticking together and voting. Parents do you realize that teachers are no longer allowed to voice their political opinions in public! Is that democracy?
