In My Own Words

Just looking for others who might have issues with their school as I do. I have a written doctors note and a written statement from myself that my child should be put on the 504 or have some kind of help in the classroom that will help him. I can't seem to get the school to comply with his needs and I've tried for 2 years. This year was the last straw. If I can't get help at the beginning of this new school year I'm hiring someone to help, such as an educational advocate. I have done much research on helping my son and have learned alot. Even to the point of taking advocate classes myself. We, as tax payers, pay for our schools to educate our children and my child's school is failing him. I'm NOT a happy parent.
