In My Own Words

What gets me peeved are teachers who continue to load on the homework in spite of recent studies (4th grade) and who repeatedly don't respond to notes written to them in the kid's agenda (which is where the system wants us to communicate with the teachers). My peeves are apt to change by the day, depending on what's going on with any of my 4 kids!!

Parents I'd Like to Meet

I would love to meet other parents with children in special ed from any of my schools. I feel that the special ed department is really in need of some fundamental changes, or maybe it's just the principal. The bureaucracy one has to go through is one thing, but the prevelent attitude is that it's all on the kids. Hello, they are special ed!
