In My Own Words

I have this gift that I can get kids to talk to me for some reason. I think it is just listening to them. Maybe, they don't get that at home. I love working in the classrooms. I get excited when a kid can not comprehend something. All of a sudden it clicks. They little faces light up like a X-mas tree. Then they tell me, they can do it. It may be something simple as writing their letters or numbers. My pet peeve is that I don't understand why parent's think the teacher suppose to teach their child everything. Also, why parent's don't help their children with their homework? A kindergarden should always have their homework. Parent's have excuses long as my arm. It makes no sense at all. This is why we have a problem in class with so many levels at K.
