In case you don't know my colorful background I'm a dyslexic mom.
One my children shares my dyslexia, and the other has what’s called an auditory processing disorder and cerebral palsy.
As family and friends of kids who learn differently (LD), we found that all kids compensate in amazing ways to learn, love and lead an exceptional life. And while many special abilities make living with LD a challenge they also make our lives more colorful because colorful minds have a unique perspective.
Our small family travels a lot around the Us and Canada. We also love backcountry camping, and animals.
Dispite my dyslexia, I managed to begin a writing career, and as a request, I just published my first hubs for parents of children with LD. And I have a story about my daughter ..Caroline and Da Bos...in Haruah Magazine....www.haruah.com
I'm currently researching and developing new ways for parents to teach their children with learning differences, socialization skills and behavior management.
