In My Own Words

I am a Stay at Home/work at Home Mom. I do freelance writing jobs for extra income and spend about 75% of my waking hours volunteering at the school and Little League. Then Summer I spend all of my time with my children with a few volunteer hours that my children and I do together. I love to Scrapbook when I have time and love doing things for others. It is so rewarding to volunteer and I completely enjoy the choas of the School months and baseball season colliding. It is a challenge and rewarding investment. I completely cherish my children and I know they are a gift from God, so I cherish every breath they take and every moment I get to share with them. After having my first child, I knew then that I wanted to be a 100% hands on parent, I did not want anyone else to raise my child while I worked. The change from two incomes to one with a new baby was a big but worthwhile change in our life style. I have been truly blessed to be able to stay home with my boys, so many do not get that opportunity. We love going to Sea World, we never get tired of it and we love living by the pool all summer. We enjoy life to its fullest! Life is short and they grow up so fast, so we do not miss a beat, we have fun and enjoy being together.

Parents I'd Like to Meet

Would love to meet other parents who volunteer at the schools, to learn what they do to encourage volunteerism, fundraising, party ideas for classes and class projects. Also would love to meet a fundraising expert.
