In My Own Words

I am a single parent living in New york City. I work very hard trying to provide for my son and I. my six year old and I have a great relationship and I pray that it stays this way always. But as you know parenting is not easy. Since my son was born i took the "mommy role" seriously. Learning everyday as I went along and from other "good" parents how to cope with the struggles. I love my son even when he gets on my nerves. LOL! He is funny and silly (like me) artistic and very bright. Brandon (B.J) is caring to others, plays well with others and just an all around good kid. However lalely I've been feeling like ripping my hair out. He started first grade and it's not going well. So rather than go to jail or end up in a mental hospital, I am seeking help from other parents who may relate and can offer some advice.

Parents I'd Like to Meet

I would like to meet parents who have boys. Moms balancing work and home life. Moms dealing with boys and behavior issues in school. Parents who have children with special needs.
