In My Own Words

I have a 16 year old daughter that has been Diagnosed with Pervasive Development Disorder. I need to find some one in the same situation to help me weave throught the complicated maze of school issues, Medications etc. It is very overwhelming and it seems like your child is the only one going through these issues. She is affected so mildly and we tend to get kicked around as being "bad parents" when we have done everything but turn ourselves inside out. It is very sad and frustrating to see our daughter try and fail over and over again.

Parents I'd Like to Meet

some one with a teenage girl with Asperger's or Pervasive Development Disorder, NOS to be a support for my husband and myself. She is not doing well in school and misses alot regardless of what we do. Maybe we can get some tips from someone who has gone thru this or is going thru this.
