In My Own Words

I'm remarried, work full-time, and have two children: an 18 year-old daughter who will be going to college in the fall and a 12 year-old son in a public middle school. My son was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome just before he started Kindergarten, and has had an IEP since that time. This past year, he attended a middle school that is not his resident school, and he has done extremely well (almost straight A's). We are so proud of him for putting in the extra effort of meeting the challenges of school.
