In My Own Words

I am a mother of 2 wonderful children. My son is almost 6 and is just finishing K5. My Daughter is 15 months. My son now is a huge challenge he wants to know the meaning of more words and has now been introduced to math. He informed me that 90 sec is a 1.5 mins!! He is such a Kid!!! He needs constant direction and something to do or my nerves get fried!!!! Work books coloring books. Out side play. We are in our first year of pee wee baseball and so far he loves it. He wants to learn spanish so we might enroll him in a class. He has a world map and loves to point out where things are in the world --like I don't know!! My daughter is learning where her nose and mouth are. Who we are as people--mom, dad, Brother. Loves her toys but tires of the same toy easily. Loves food!!! What fun our children are and how they enrich our lives!! Their is nothing like being a mom.

Parents I'd Like to Meet

I am a registered nurse that works part time in CVICU. I love my job. I am learning how to balance home , work, family life. Keeping the kids occupied!!! Summer will be a challange for me! My son might be attending a school for the gifted in fall. We are waiting to see if he gets in!!! I am hoping to learn spanish with my son. That should be fun. Next year I am planning to join the PTA regardless of the school he is in. I didn't this year due to daughter had health needs that needed to be addressed. So I would like to meet parents that have the same above interests. Hope to meet you!!
