In My Own Words

My name is Linda....37 yrs old...Happily married...with a daughter who will be 5 in July! I worked at Coca-Cola for 9 years until a bunch of us girls were laid off awhile ago! I then decided to become a licensed home child care provider! I want to help parents and their children because I know how it is to bring your child to a daycare when you have to go off to work. I always hated doing that.......So now I can return the favor to other mothers by giving them a peace of mind that their child will be having a great time here! So if any of you need childcare....whether it be for the summer or long term.....We are here....REAL close to Manitou Elementary!!! We welcome 2 or 3 more kids only....as we are currently taking care of a 2 yr old now plus my daughter......we want a low ratio of kids!!!!! OK That was my quick advertisement............ Now a bit about me........I love to shop.....love to eat......go to movies....go to parks....bike ride....watch my daughter play....did I say I like to shop? hahahahaha!!!! I've been married now for over 6 years. It's been an adventure!!! I am happy and sad about our daughter starting Kindergarten......I hope she will like it. Ok enough for now!

Parents I'd Like to Meet

I am interested in meeting parents that have children attending Manitou Elementary. I would like to hear stories about the school. I'd like to hear their thoughts and opinions...... I would love to volunteer some time once my daughter starts going there. I'd like to meet some parents to become friends with too!!!
