In My Own Words

My kids are my life.. thats pretty much sums me up in a nut shell.. everything or rather almost everything I do it for them and them alone. I work at trying to make the life they have one of hte best possible ( but within limits mind you) I think some of my favorite parenting memories are when one of my kids mispronounce words or do silly things. The best example is when my now 7 yr old son called Sherbet a bowl of pervert one night asking if he could have some.. I don't think I have laughed as hard as I did that night or a classic, calling roast beef - roasted beast, my now 14 month old daughter being just as silly as can be or my 11 yr old trying to teach her things.. My 5 yr old son is very serous and that alone tends to make me laugh because I have never seen a child be so blooming serous. And as much as these clowns are my life, they also add to the every day chaos of our home life and that can ware on me alot. I can honestly say being a SAHM is NOT as easy as most people would like to believe. Theres much more work involved then ya know.. I tend to look at rankings of other school and am often taken back when I see that my kids school doesn't match up well wiht other schools in near by area's and wonder what can the parents of this school do now to help the school and kids get a better ranking.. what are these other school s doing that is obviously showing in the kids school work, that makes not just the parents happy, but their children as well.. We need to be doing what we can to help make school a better place all around for these kids and in the end, it will show in their test scores and work habits and I feel better prepare them for life away from school..

Parents I'd Like to Meet

Parents who have kids around the same ages as mine both in this area as well as in other counties within the state. Work and how to balance being a mom and having a job ( and even more.. just finding a job as it is.. lol) Like minded people..
