In My Own Words

I’m Dave Steer, the marketing director here at GreatSchools. My job is to make sure that we’re meeting the needs of the GreatSchools Parent Community and that we’re fulfilling our mission: Empowering and inspiring parents to be involved in their children's education. I’m also a proud father of a two-year-old girl. As a new dad researching schools for my child, I can understand the challenges that face many parents as they raise kids to be successful at school. To help our parent community, I will be regularly writing on the GreatSchools Blog about events that impact the state of education in our country.
