In My Own Words

We are a military family that spent ten years on one base in a desirable area of California. The base school was in the towns' district system. The school was wonderful and my eldest child went from Kindergarten through fourth and my son went for two years. We were very happy there. We were transfered to another part of California and assumed the new base school would be good since it's on a military base. How wrong we were. We have been very disappointed in the area and the schools. We are now moving again, back to the area where we lived before. However, not on a base. I am researching the schools and using this website as a tool. Education is extremely important to me. A good learning environment is the most important thing for a school to be successful. The school climate, discipline policy, and parent involvement are what I look at in a good school.

Parents I'd Like to Meet

I like other Moms who's priority is there children and their education. I prefer stay at home moms because that's what I am. I like mature moms because I am an older mom and welcome the experience. I like down to earth moms who don't put on facades or try to be something they're not.
