In My Own Words

I am a transplanted NY girl who has been living in Texas for nearly 3 years. While the initial culture shock was nothing short of a mild electrocution, I have managed to adapt thru frequent trips to Round Rock, Georgetown & Austin (Thank goodness for Google Maps!) That not withstanding, I do enjoy the beautiful Texas weather and the affordability of life here. My eldest daughter who is a budding cheer-diva simpy adores the fact that cheerleading is such a huge phenomenom here and is pursuing her passion with wild abandon (I've still got the reigns on). My baby-girl is little-by-little overcoming her physical allergy to Central Texas thru various allergy meds, but still bravely suffers with a constantly runny nose :( But she is such a trooper and just simply enjoys her life nonetheless. I love and adore my hubby who is overseas right now, love and adore my beautiful girls, and am enjoying my ever evolving life,

Parents I'd Like to Meet

I would like to meet other parents with children who have special needs, as well as typically developing children. Also I would like to meet "mature Moms" ( and I say this very tongue in cheek) who have younger children. My kiddos are 6 & 11 and I am in my mid-forties. I am not excluding you younger Moms.....I ove you guys, but I must say, your ability to bounce back in to your skinny jeans after having your babies is a mite depressing........LOL
