In My Own Words

I'm a full-time working mom with two bright and busy boys, one who has ADHD. I am also an active parent advocate in my community, with particular focus on Special Education advocacy and reform, ADA law, and Bullying awareness and prevention. Every day as a working mom presents new challenges, but my kids are most definitely worth the effort. I enjoy opportunities to help other parents/guardians advocate for their own children, as well. I also need to remember to keep my sense of humor, and I enjoy a hearty laugh whenever I have the chance!

Parents I'd Like to Meet

I addition to wanting to meet and share ideas with other parents interested in advocacy for Special Education, Gifted Education, and Bullying Awareness and Prevention, I would love to meet a mom who has figured out how to "do it all" while still managing to have a tidy house (having a maid to help doesn't count)!
