In My Own Words

Having a daughter who is now a sophomore in high school has provided me with such a wide range of experiences (from effective parent/teacher conferencing to helping my daughter choose good friends) that I feel as though I know and could advise on numerous topics! However, I still have so much to learn and gain from others experiences and hope this is the site to help me and for me to help others. I am in the process of working on schools adherence to GPA policies regarding sports participation...allowing children to slip through with less than what's expected only sets them up for failure in the future and hurts rather than helps them.
