Is it ok to prevent your teenage son from being friends with kids you think are using drugs.  How do you know if you can trust him to peer pressure.

If you know for sure that the friends are using, who do you tell or do you mind your own business.

Re: What can you do when you expect your son's friends are drug users?
My oldest son is in junior high. We have talked about drug use to our children, since they were little. We have made it known that drug use will not be tolerated in our home. If I was worried about my child using drugs, I would tell my children that there will be random drug tests. I would buy a couple of the home drug tests kits and make them take it. That way if they fail, then you can nip it in the bud, and if they are clean, they will be too scared to do it, because they know they will get caught.
