What a waste of time, MONEY (that we don't have), and it should be cut in lieu of the budget.  It is so sad to see that so much has been ruined by this test. Many teachers have retired early because they don't want to teach for  " the stupid test."  There is not enough paper to print a school news-letter however, the FCAT workbooks are everywhere?? The stress that has been dumped on our children is sad and very upsetting. We wanted out child at an "A" school so that he could get the best education. What does that 'A' really mean? Now, it means I bought into this FCAT score and like many used that as a gauge. Well, I got the "A" school and I got the stress that comes with it. It starts at the top and works it's way down. The principal needs to keep the "A" so there is stress there. The teachers hear about it from the principal and the "A" causes more stress. The children get to hear from their teachers, more stress. The parents get to deal with the stressed out child from all of the stress causing FCAT work and homework. So we all end up stressed out for what?  So we can be 47th out of 50 and have NO MONEY? I did not have the FCAT and I figured it out. It's not Rocket Science, THIS IS NOT WORKING....Simple
