Hi, my name is Diana and I am offering internet advocacy services at a very affordable rate.

What can I do for you?  I can explain and interpret the sped laws and regulations and how they apply specifically to your situation.  I write clear, concise letters to school districts, outlining the specifics of your child's situation and how federal education laws apply, and what legal responsibilities your district is responsible for.  I can also help you understand what your child's evaluations mean, how your child's disabilities affect his learning and what accommodations are appropriate for your child's individualized needs.

Visit me at www.spedvocate.com and see how I can help!  I am still building my site (it's new), but I've been doing internet advocacy for five years and you can read letters from some of the parents I've assisted at my site.  You can also email me at www.spedvocate@gmail.com.

Remember, you are always your child's best advocate and trust your instincts!

dihicks6, has helped me navigate the system for years.I don't know what I would have done without her help. She certainly does have a gift for this. Her letter writing skills together with her knowledge of the laws gets the ball rolling fast. If it weren't for dihicks, I probably will still be running around in circles. Not only is dihicks good at what she does, she also cares about helping people. Her internal motivation for educational law and helping others makes her the best!

I would like to second michellea's comments. You have always been spot on with your advice and have an knack of being able to get to the crux of the matter, separating non-essential details from important facts. I am happy to see that you have migrated to helping a broader audience to include those at Great Schools. We have benefited from the depth of your knowledge and advice and am pleased that others may also be likewise benefited.

Best wishes!

dHicks,
So glad to see your website posted here. I hope that it helps you to reach families that need support and guidance to navigate the special ed process and secure the appropriate services for their children.

Your advice is always right on target, you have a gift for recognizing the real issues, and you know the laws and what to do to get them to work for families and students.

Best of luck in your new venture!
