OS- Did anyone watch the Academy Awards?

I did and I have to admit I found it to be quite boring, although I was very happy that "No Country for Old Men" stole the show. That's one of the best movies I've seen in a long time. In my opinion, it was perfectly crafted and executed, and Javier Bardem's character brought villianry to a whole new level.

I also loved "There Will Be Blood." I was really taken with that movie and how little dialogue there was but so much was communicated in other ways. Daniel Day Lewis deserved the win.

I also loved Juno and Enchanted. As you can see my movie tastes run the gamut.

Didn't watch it but then again, I didn't see most of the movies. From what I heard about "No country", not sure it would be something I'd like. I DID see spiderwick chronicles recently, and loved it. Also loved Enchanted. (See the trend... don't see TOO many movies without my 10 year old! LOL!)

Yes, I saw parts of it. Some of the dresses were absolutely beautiful.
