Did I miss something?!

I admit, I do not come here often, but I wanted to reply to michellea about her FIL passing...I forgot to UNCHECK the darned little box to get an e-mail every time the thread got a reply, and I came back to edit my own message to do that, and I CANNOT DO EDIT MY OWN MESSAGE?!

When did this happen?

Re: Editing After Submitting?!
As far as editing your own post, GS changed that to only allow you to edit it for one hour after it has first been posted. I don't know the reason behind this decision. I have privately emailed Tahali and asked her to edit a typo or two and she has been more than willing to oblige. I am infamous for not seeing my errors until the next day when I look at it with "fresh" eyes, only then its too late to edit the mistakes :)

LadyHawke, one way around this is to click the "Don't want to receive any more notifications for this question? Turn off email updates for this discussion" link that's at the bottom of the email notifications you're receiving. You can also change your email settings for individual posts on your watchlist.
