If the text on your screen is too small (or too big), most browsers let you resize it.

In Firefox, select View > Text Size > Increase, Decrease or Normal (your default). You can also just press Ctrl + to increase, Ctrl - to decrease, or Ctrl 0 to go back to "normal."

In Opera, select View > Zoom and select your percentage.

In Internet Explorer 6 select View > Text Size, then choose the size you want , ranging from "largest" to "smallest."

Internet Explorer 7 has the same view text size control, but also has a magnification setting in the lower right hand corner of the window that lets you zoon the whole window by a percentage.

Sometimes the ability to enlarge text depends on the site. (It can be related to how they specify the type size; pixels, ems, points, etc) I cannot enlarge the type on Great Schools while in Internet Explorer, although I can in other sites. But the zoom tool in IE 7 did work.

Here are links to download browsers if you don't have them.

Re: Re-sizing text on screen with your browser
THANKS! That is a wonderful tip!

Too bad I can't pin this to the top of the discussion list. (hint hint GS) When there is a will, there is a way. I'll just add a link to it in the group description.
