This is a great story about one kid trying to make a difference. This boy is 8 years old and suffers from Tourettes which makes him an easy target for bullies. He set up his own website to bring awareness to the bullying problem.
Re: Jaylen's Challenge: One Boy with Tourettes Tackles the Problem
Jaylen, My name is Morgan and I have the same problem as you. I'm 10 years old and in 5th grade. I have Tourettes and OCD. You are so brave and I'm so proud of you. You helped me feel better about my Tourettes syndrome. I wish to stop bullying too. I wish you could talk at my school, that would be great! :)
Keep upthe great work. Morgan

Re: Jaylen's Challenge: One Boy with Tourettes Tackles the Problem
I just cannot believe how bright this young man is. For a boy his age is just amazing and the most brilliant idea that he has ever made to do what he can to put a stop to bullying. I'm glad that he's making his point across to let people know that he is not the only one in this country that has this disorder. When I was in High School I have met a couple of kids with that disorder and would never think of them any different. I don't have that disorder, but I was picked on as a child myself and it was not the most fun time in my life then. I wish that there were awareness like that when I was a kid. Because the kids today are just going to far with bullying that is just spiraling out of control and it needs to stop. Kids don't need to judge others just because they are different, they need to learn more about them regardless if they have a condition or not. I am proud to hear that little boy's story and I am most certainly going to be teaching my kids to treat others respectfully and equally.
