I have a 12 year old son who has learning disabilities. He will be entering the 7th grade, but reads on a 3rd grade level and has problems with writing and math. He is under an IEP in Georgia now.

We might be moving with my job this summer to the Denver area. Any help anyone can give me with what areas or schools I should be looking at would be a great help. It looks as though the CO school system is very different from GA.

Thanks!!

Re: relocating to Denver CO area
I have not yet gotten any advice. We arrive in CO on 8/12 to look for a place to live. We will be looking in the northwest denver area, westminster, arvada, broomfield. Maybe thornton and northglenn. Any info you have would be so appreciated!!

Thanks so much

Re: relocating to Denver CO area
I was just reviewing the email community at Great Schools and saw your question. You mentioned that you may be moving to Denver this summer. Did you find assistance and answers to your question regarding your 12 year old son?

Thank you.
Stephanie
