My 7 year old boy goes to a Private school (the British School in Tokyo). I am separated and planning to move to Laguna Beach in July, I haven't really lived in the US for a long time, been in Tokyo for almost 15 years. Not many choices for private schools in our area I guess, he would be going to El Morro if public schools, I am thinking of Annelieses ,Willowbrook campus. If anyone has a suggestion to help me decide, I would really appreciate it.

Re: relocating from Japan
Hi, I'm relocating back to San Clemente from the UK after 8 years. We moved to the UK from there when my sons were 6, 9 and 11. The British School system is vastly different to the US and you won't find anything comparable. St. Anne's in Laguna Niguel is an excellent private school however. I've checked it out closely and wouldn't choose any other school in the South Orange County area. They serve K-8th grades. My sons will attend JSerra Catholic High School which St. Anne's feeds into. Neither require that you be Christian or Catholic. Best of luck to you.

Have you checked out our Research and Compare page yet? Both of the schools you mention have parent reviews as well as other information.

I am not personally familiar with Laguna Beach so all I can suggest is that you make a list of what school characteristics are most important to you and what you like about his current school. I am guessing he may already speak more than one language... if so is it important to you that he continue to learn both/all those languages in school?
