My family is moving from Oklahoma to North Carolina and I cannot find a middle school for my son. I would like to know what is the best school rated by some parents and school districts. This is our first move and to be honest, it really is frustrating? But any little help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Re: PCSing from OK to NC
It seems that schools near Ft. Bragg are in the Cumberland County District. I've attached a link showing a listing of all middle schools in that area: fortbragghousing.com/schools_list.php?PHPSESSID=c61927feb92ca930fa5f688b56a1e2fc.

While I don't live in North Carolina, I hope this list will get you started on your search for a middle school for your son.

Good luck, and let us know what you've found out.

Thank you, yet I am still confused at the way that things are set up. From my understanding, 6th grade is still considered Intermediate. I have tried googling the Ft. Bragg school report card..but I have no knowledge of the counties. However, I will continue to search. Just don't want my son to enroll in a school who cares more about athletics rather than academics. I appreciate your help "MSMomm". =-)

Re: PCSing from OK to NC
Hello SoftspokenMama:

If you take a look at the green bar up above, you'll see the "Find a School" tab. Click on that tab, and you'll be directed to different menus, where you'll be able to find a school in the area you're moving to. You'll also be able to see the ratings for each middle school in the area, giving you a better idea of which school will best suit your son's needs.

Good luck.
