Thank you.. A local library recently started up a program like you mentioned. It seemed to offer extra fun time afterwards as well. For instance, coloring that promoted learning fundametals of shapes and sizes...

You know, at that age, the best thing you can do for your child is the library. They have story time at most libraries, where a bunch of parents bring their kids and a volunteer reads to them. If the volunteer is good, it'll be very interactive and he/she will have the children jumping around and acting out parts of the story as they read it. And set aside time every day where you read aloud to your child...maybe at bed time.
