Last month, the Parents Education Network in San Francisco asked for permission to use our article, Famous People With Dyslexia, Other LD and/or AD/HD as the basis for a film to be created by kids with LD and AD/HD for a special event AT&T Park (home of the SF Giants). The video was shown on the JumboTron to approximately 1,500 people! Watch it here: drop.io/edrev2009video

I've also updated the article, which will be featured in our May Learning Difficulties newsletter.

drjohnson-
I have good news to report to you. The Power of Dyslexia project is in the process of adding narration to go along with powerful text, although I don't have a definitive ETA at this point in time.

dhfl - the irony of the youtube video on the power of dyslexia, is that it's all in text. I doubt if my ADHD dyslexics could make their way through it and derive the intended message.

Alexa, thanks for mentioning your clip...my teen is a college-age student with dyslexia, so I'll be interested in seeing what he thinks of it.

This is great! For CTgirl21, you might look at the video we produced about college students with LD/ADHD. There is a young man with dyslexia who talks about how he manages. It's on the smu.edu/learndifferently website if the link doesn't work.
