Amazing story of John Corcoran.  Here is the You Tube video of the interview.  He discusses how he was a teacher for 17 years.  How no one knew his secret that he couldn't read, write or spell above a 2nd grade level.  Imagine this:  he learned to read at the age of 48.  A testimony that it is never too late to learn to read!

Watch it and I'd love to hear what you think of it?  Can you imagine students who were in his class that had no idea he couldn't read?

Amazing!! Interesting how he called special ed the "dumb road". How sad!
Johnathon Mooney called sped, sarcastically "all the special snowflakes". Its funny, but sad at the same time.

After watching this show, I feel much better, as my son has dsylexia and I thought that there is no hope, as we had tried many things and almost gave up, and accept the way he is and do not want to push him further.

Thank you. Axlandre

What an amazing story and now what an incredible advocate. Thanks for the inspiration.
