Adios, Great Schools

Sorry friends, I have had it with the slowness of the site, how annoying it is to post (I can't paste in HTML, which really slows things down for me as I compose in a text editor in HTML) the advertising, the difficulty of finding past posts, and all the rest.

I'm going to slow down my online activity in general until the end of May (school, I bought a house, my stepson's getting married in England, etc.)

Denali-goodness will continue at MillerMoms.

I'm sorry to see you leave. I personally don't have any of the problems you've mentioned on my own computer, but my mom's computer does with her dial-up. And I know GS is working to make things better for all of us. Maybe you'll poke your head in and see how things are going over here after a while? Things are bound to improve here.

Denali, I'd miss seeing your posts here. I'm still a lurker. I lost my password at millermom's. I know it's somewhere in my folders - I'll fins it and will will you at millermom.

I am coming very close to following in your footsteps. But then like Tambrey I see some very misinformed post and I find myself returning just to see if I can help others "get it".

I can understand your feelings.....I am still mixed....I keep coming back here...like a bug to the light (zapper!)...because I still would like to be able to help that one or two parents who I might find in all the shuffle
