Here's another site that offers good college information, and a short survey that helps to assess college readiness and gives suggestions for improving one's success: www.eduguide.org/Parents/TakeQuiz/tabid/114/view/StepTakeQuiz/quizId/14/Default.aspx

You might want to check out Embark.com. I noticed that they just added a check list for students going to college with links to many of the things that you provide links for in the past.

Mary Beth Marklein's blog on USA Today covers a lot of ground for the college set.
