New to the group

Hi

I'm Giovanna

My daughter is 10 an is in a Montessori school.  The one we're at isn't very good but we're on the waiting list for a different one.  My son should be starting preschool at the new one in the fall which means that under the schools sibling policy that if my daughter hasn't been called yet, she'll automatically get in!  Hooray!

I'm excited about the prospect of what the new school will offer both my daughter and my son.  My daughter needs out of her current school, which is losing students to homeschooling and public schools on a regular basis now.  They have too many bullies and too little teaching skills and very, very little extracurricular activities.  My son will benefit from the new school because he needs to play with other kids and have something to do!

I have a lot of health issues, so I have little energy to do what he needs to do on top of everything else that's expected of a mom and a wife.

I'm excited to see what Fall '08 brings us.  And I look forward to our discussions here.
