Since 1991, the Regal Cinemas have offered slightly older G and PG movies on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings to families over the summer for FREE.

Locate a theatre near you, or find out what movies are playing, visit www.regmovies.com/nowshowing/familyfilmfestivalschedule.aspx

Some of the movies include "Charlotte's Web" and even Star Wars' Clone Wars.  The showings are first-come, first serve and start at 10 am, but the price is definitely right.  While movies may not be the most educational activity in the summer, a little creativity could turn viewing "Hotel for Dogs" into how to motivate kids into volunteering in the community.

I wonder if they sell coffee and donuts, or if popcorn tastes good that early in the morning :)
